This past week Israeli ambassador, Gilad Erdan, voted against the UN’s request for a ceasefire in the war against Hamas. So, let’s review just a few of his reasons:
Hamas broke the ceasefire on October 7th when they invaded Israel.
All humanitarian needs are already being facilitated by Israel.
The Red Cross has not been allowed to examine any hostages to date, which is against all international law.
There are 129 hostages still being held by Hamas.
If Hamas would simply surrender and release the hostages, not only a ceasefire, but the end of the war altogether, would be immediate.
11,000 missiles have been fired from Gaza into Israel.
This so-called humanitarian ceasefire would not increase any humanitarian aid, but only give the terrorists an opportunity to regroup.
