Some of you may know that I serve as Director of Communications here at Tikkun Global. I am a Brazilian born to a Japanese father, Lebanese-Italian mother, I am a naturalized citizen of the United States and serve Israel full-time. I am not Jewish at all. The only part of me that could be considered Jewish is Yeshua Himself. I love to defend the cause of Israel and all the blessings the Jews have given us: Our Savior, our Bible, and the global ecclesia—the Church.
Asher, Betty, Monique (my wife) and I are in Brazil this November for several ministry appointments hosted by JesusCopy and Tikkun Brazil. It is hard to describe the massive reach these ministries have had on a national level. Douglas Gonçalves founded JesusCopy with a vision to reach the younger generation of Brazil—to inspire them to be like Jesus. Harold Walker is an American missionary who moved to Brazil and has been living in the country for more than sixty years. Harold has been in relationship with Asher Intrater for many years and founded Tikkun Brazil with a vision to disciple leaders in Kingdom values and connect them with the remanent in Israel. Harold and Douglas have been connected for many years themselves. As a Brazilian, I am overjoyed to see these connections strengthening. This is truly “Covenant Relationships” at work.
The evangelical church in Brazil is quite large in number. However, the depth of true and mature doctrine is not easily found. It’s been a wide and shallow situation for about thirty years. There is a remanent in Brazil of believers who are seeking sound Kingdom understanding, balanced End Times theology, and relationship with Israelis. JesusCopy is certainly one of the most influential ministries and they are doing just that. In fact, the book Covenant Relationships has become a major textbook in their ministry school.
We invite you to pray for these important meetings in Brazil. Here are some key points:
Growth in maturity for the Body of Believers in the country.
Clarity about our role as gentiles (Brazilians) in God’s plan and how to spur Israel to jealousy.
More and more relationships between Brazilians and Israelis, remnant to remnant.
The government of Brazil to align itself with Israel.
Faithfulness among the remnant in Brazil – unity and stronger bond among themselves.
