Our ability to mobilize worldwide prayer that is strategic is very significant today. This 24/7 prayer movement is largely due to the efforts of Rees Howells, who came out of the Welsh revival in the early 1900s, and started a Bible college that became a center for prayer. Their intercession helped fuel the victories of World War II at Dunkirk, in Ethiopia, Italy, Normandy and then in 1948 when Israel was attacked by the surrounding nations.
