Happy Hanukkah! It is a Festival of Lights. This year’s celebration in Israel has even more meaning as the battle of light over darkness continues.
Historically, there were two struggles going on:
War between the Maccabees and the Greek Empire
Cleansing and Re-dedication of the Temple and the re-Kindling of the Lampstand
In Revelation 1 it says the golden lampstand is actually a symbol for the people of God.
